Access modes

Coventra uses two user-facing collaboration modes: full project access and screening-only access. Full project members can work across the project according to their role. Screening-only members are scoped to screening workflows.

Invite collaborators

  1. Open Collaboration or project member management.
  2. Choose full-project or screening-only access.
  3. Send the invitation to the reviewer's email address.
  4. For premium projects, assign premium passes only when needed and allowed by the plan.
  5. Review member lists periodically and remove users who no longer need access.

Assigned work

Assigned work appears in categorized groups so reviewers do not have to scroll through one long mixed list. Categories include screening, full-text screening, extraction, risk of bias, conflict resolution, and general project work.

  • Assignees can update their own project-task status.
  • Project leads can create and adjust tasks.
  • Screening assignments remain phase-specific.
  • Notifications are intended for coordination events such as invitations, assignments, mentions, and opened quality conflicts.

Communication habits

Practical tips
  • Use decision comments for screening-specific questions.
  • Use task descriptions for concrete work, deadlines, and expected output.
  • Avoid putting sensitive patient data into comments or task text.
  • Resolve comment threads once action has been taken.
