The pricing model in one sentence

Coventra separates account billing from project access. Your account plan determines how many projects can be made premium and how many collaborators can receive premium access on those projects; the active project still needs the right allocation before premium tools unlock.

Free plan

  • Price: $0.
  • Project creation limit: 3 new free projects per month.
  • Premium projects: 0.
  • Standard collaborators: up to 2 per free/core project.
  • Screening-only members: up to 15 per project.
  • Included workflows: study management, imports, deduplication, screening, screening ML/ranking, basic pairwise analysis, basic risk-of-bias workflows, and non-premium exports.
  • Included exports: CSV, outcomes-long CSV, JSON, RIS, BibTeX, PRISMA checklist, PRISMA-S search, manuscript characteristics DOCX, R script, validation report, reviewer reliability, included-study references, excluded-studies appendix, and deduplication audit.
Important

Screening is free. If a reviewer only needs to screen, use screening-only access instead of spending full-project collaborator capacity.

Starter 6-Month Pass

  • Price: $25 one-time.
  • Validity: 183 days.
  • Premium projects: 3.
  • Full-project collaborators per premium project: 6.
  • Screening-only members per project: 15.
  • Includes all premium features: AI-assisted study characteristics, NMA, GRADE, advanced analyses, premium exports, reproducibility package, open-access PDF automation, advanced templates, and project-wide PDF search.
Practical tips
  • Best fit for one review cycle with a small team.
  • Use it when you need premium methods and exports but do not want a recurring subscription.

Scholar 12-Month Pass

  • Price: $50 one-time.
  • Validity: 365 days.
  • Premium projects: 8.
  • Full-project collaborators per premium project: 6.
  • Screening-only members per project: 15.
  • Includes the same premium feature set as Starter, with more premium project slots and a longer validity window.
Practical tips
  • Best fit for PhD work, multiple related reviews, or a small lab with several active projects.
  • Use this when the review program spans more than one project or one semester.

Researcher Monthly

  • Price: $5 per month.
  • Premium projects: unlimited solo premium projects.
  • Full-project collaborators per premium project: 0. This is a solo premium plan.
  • Screening-only members per project: 15.
  • Includes premium features for the owner's solo premium projects.
Important

Researcher Monthly is solo premium. It cannot upgrade shared projects with full-project collaborators, and it does not provide premium collaborator passes.

Team Monthly

  • Price: $15 per owner per month.
  • Premium projects: 10.
  • Full-project collaborators per premium project: 7.
  • Screening-only members per project: 15.
  • Includes premium features for active team projects, including advanced analyses, NMA, GRADE, premium exports, project PDF search, and open-access PDF automation.
Practical tips
  • Best fit for a research group where several people need extraction, analysis, quality, and export access.
  • Use screening-only seats for reviewers who do not need full project access.

What premium unlocks

  • AI-assisted study-characteristics suggestions.
  • Network meta-analysis and supported Bayesian analyses.
  • Meta-regression, cumulative meta-analysis, publication-bias views, diagnostic plots, advanced DTA, advanced proportion/rate/single-group analyses, and survival HR analysis.
  • GRADE automation and GRADE Summary of Findings export.
  • Premium exports: RevMan XML, Excel workbook, interactive HTML, reproducibility ZIP, plot bundle-related export support, and GRADE SoF.
  • Open-access PDF automation.
  • Advanced templates and premium batch workflows.
  • Project-wide PDF text search.

Why a paid account may still see a locked button

  • The active project has not been allocated as premium.
  • The current user is not a member of that project.
  • The owner has a solo plan and the project is shared.
  • The collaborator has not received a premium pass on that premium project.
  • The project configuration does not support that workflow.
  • A required integration is temporarily unavailable.
